Vanguard VEO HD 80A Spotting Scope Starter Bundle

The Vanguard VEO HD 80A Smartphone Digiscoping Bundle brings together the accessories that allow you to observe and digiscope with your VEO HD 80A spotting scope, including:

• VEO PA-65 universal smartphone digiscope adaptor

The Spotting Scope:

At the heart of the bundle is the VEO HD 80A spotting scope which boasts a lightweight yet durable composite carbon housing that is 38cm long, 18cm tall and 10cm across, and weighs just 1550g for maximum portability.

With an 80mm objective lens and a 20-60x zoom, it features extra low dispersion (ED) glass and BaK4 prisms that is fully multi-coated with Multiguard® 4 for a strong optical performance.

It is also 100% waterproof and fog-proof, with two-step twist eyecups, a built-in sunshield, a large central focus adjustment wheel and a position-adjustment knob.

The Tripod:

To get the most from any spotting scope you need a tripod, and the bundle includes a VEO 3GO 265HAP aluminium travel tripod. This folds to 41cm and weighs just 1560g making it easy to transport, while extending to 162cm (122cm with the central column down for maximum stability) and holding up to 6kg.

On top it includes an Arca compatible VEO PH-20 2-way pan head. This means that the foot of the VEO HD 80A can slot directly into the clamp for the most secure hold. Alternatively, you can use the QS-71P quick release plate that is included and is designed specifically for spotting scopes with a non-twist spring pin. 

The Digiscope Adaptor:

The bundle includes our universal VEO PA-65 smartphone digiscope adaptor which simply slots onto the eyepiece and your smartphone (up to 90mm wide) and enables you to take captivating closeup shots or video, and share them straight to social media.

So What Next?

You're ready to go.  All you need to add to the mix is the location and your smartphone. Though you might want a new bag to carry the bundle.
